I got such good feedback about the neck crank I recently showed that I
decided to add another cervical crank I like hitting a lot, which is the half
crucifix from guard. This move is a nice submission and a very reliable
sweep – and like the neck crank I showed yesterday, isn’t as common
as an armbar or kimura, so it catches people off guard. We use this
all the time at my MMA gym in Miami, FL.
Any move that attacks the spine or neck is definitely dangerous… so
practice this move safely. Enjoy!
